Welcome To The Stage – Tyler Nance

93.7 The Stage is proud to feature the music of Southwest Missouri native Tyler Nance!

As the impact of Tyler Nance’s outstanding songwriting continues to grow his unique perspective and unquestionable talent are resonating with a fast growing number of fans.

Tyler’s story starts in Southwest Missouri where he grew up and worked on his family’s Lamar, Missouri farm. After high school he took welding classes and left Missouri to work as a traveling welder.

“I thought that was what I’d be doing for the rest of my life,” he told Billboard in 2025.

During the Covid-19 pandemic Tyler bought a guitar and while he traveled for work he started to learn to play. He drew inspiration from Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan who influenced his playing and early writing. At first Tyler says he didn’t take guitar playing very seriously. He was learning to play guitar as a pastime.

Very soon after recording his breakout hit ‘Keeps Me Sane’ Tyler posted the track on social media sites and it quickly gained a large audience. The song has now amassed over 75 million plays across streaming platforms.
